Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking a Director of Operations to translate home delivery strategy into field execution across regions. This leader will own performance, profitability, safety, and continuous improvement while coaching site leaders to achieve excellence.

The role requires 8+ years in logistics, strong financial acumen, and proven ability to manage contractor delivery networks and lean initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in transportation, logistics or related operating environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations with contractor delivery networks.
• Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution across Home Delivery markets including warehouse, routing, delivery, installation, returns and customer resolution.
• Own financial results including labor, contractor costs, revenue and profit improvement plans.
• Establish KPIs and review results via scorecards and client metrics.
• Lead regular operating reviews and drive corrective actions with sites and leaders.
• Develop leaders and build an inclusive, accountable culture.
