Job summary

Sectr Partners Limited seeks a Director of Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across a region of healthcare practices. You will collaborate with Practice Managers and Physician Leadership to enhance patient care, efficiency, and growth.

You will lead performance, budgeting, and initiative execution while driving standardization, quality, and profitability across all sites. This role emphasizes coaching, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• Extensive multi-site healthcare or business operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Optometry or Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop managers and teams.
• Strong financial acumen and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational performance and day-to-day management of multiple healthcare practices.
• Partner with Practice Managers and Physician Leadership to improve patient care, patient flow, productivity, and overall practice performance.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs, including revenue, labor costs, operating expenses, and cost of goods/services, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Lead, coach, and develop Practice Managers, building high-performing teams and supporting recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
• Drive consistent processes, operational standards, compliance, and best practices across all practices.
• Use data, reporting, and market insight to identify opportunities for growth, cost improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Lead strategic initiatives, change programmes, practice expansion, and integration activities as required.
• Partner with clinical and senior leadership on budgets, capital expenditure, equipment, supplies, and other operational priorities.
• Ensure practices maintain safe, professional, well-organized environments and effective management of inventory and company assets.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
