Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare seeks a Regional Director of Operations to oversee multiple facilities across the region, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. You will lead facility leadership teams, drive strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and foster resident-centered care while traveling regularly to sites.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, strategic planning, and deep knowledge of healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required.
Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Active Nursing Home Administrator license.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or regional management role.
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare settings is highly preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to mentor and develop leaders.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Proven financial management and budgetary skills; ability to analyze financial reports and KPIs.
Ability to travel frequently within the region to visit facilities and meet with leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple facilities within the region; ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Visit facilities regularly to monitor performance and resident satisfaction.
Provide leadership and guidance to facility administrators and leadership teams.
Mentor and develop regional leadership to improve management practices.
Recruit, onboard, and train facility leadership, including administrators and department heads.
Ensure facilities comply with healthcare regulations and quality initiatives.
Monitor budgets, control expenses, and optimize resources for efficiency.
Drive resident-centered care and a safe, welcoming environment for residents and families.
Develop and execute regional strategies; implement corporate initiatives and improvements.
Collaborate with corporate and regional leadership to share best practices and drive excellence.
