Job summary

Emser Tile is seeking a Business Development Manager to mentor Branch-based Outside Sales Representatives to boost product sales and customer service across our Florida region.

You will develop and retain an effective Commercial/Retail/Builder sales force, expand market penetration, and partner with Branch Managers, National Account Managers, and Directors to meet goals within budgets. Travel 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Five plus years of related sales management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to travel 50% of the time.
• Expert in influential/collaborative sales and negotiation techniques with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements specialized or targeted sales strategies.
• Coaches and directs Commercial/Retail/Builder Sales Representatives.
• Trains Commercial/Retail/Builder Sales Representatives with presentation skills, product knowledge, internal procedures, buying group programs and Emser promotions.
• Develops business relationships with key Commercial/Retailers/Builders within assigned region.
• Defines goals and communicates objectives to sales representatives regularly.
• Measures sales representatives’ performance against objectives and budgets.
• Partners with Branch Managers and Outside Sales Representatives to achieve mutual goals.
