Job summary

Emser Tile is seeking a Business Development Manager to mentor our Branch-based Outside Sales Representatives, elevating product sales and customer service to achieve goals and grow market penetration and margins. This role builds and maintains a strong Commercial/Retail/Builder sales force capable of increasing product sales.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and five+ years in sales management, with the ability to travel over 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of related sales management experience.
• Extensive working knowledge of Commercial/Retail/Builder sales.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements specialized or targeted sales strategies.
• Coaches and directs Commercial/Retail/Builder Sales Representatives.
• Trains sales reps on presentation skills, product knowledge, procedures, builder programs and Emser promotions.
• Develops business relationships with key Commercial/Retailers/Builders within assigned region.
• Defines goals and communicates them to sales reps and measures performance.
