Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Regional Business Leader to guide sales, project delivery, financial, operational, client, and people performance for a defined region. This leader sets regional priorities, builds high-performing teams, strengthens client relationships, and drives growth.

Reporting to the COO, you will work with Area Managers, directors, and leaders to connect regional goals to company strategy, while leading a hybrid work model with two days in-office weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 15 years of industry experience with leadership responsibility.
• Ability to lead teams, set priorities, and create accountability for results.
• Strong understanding of business development, project delivery, workforce planning, and financial management.
• Ability to build relationships and influence decisions with senior leaders, clients, and staff.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching and decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and navigate complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional performance, risk management, and coordination with delivery and client service teams.
• Lead the strategy and growth of the region and manage regional business development budgets.
• Guide pursuits, proposals, project scopes, pricing, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Develop key client contacts and promote cross-selling of services.
• Be accountable for profitable regional performance and regulatory compliance.
• Lead talent management, succession planning, and staffing within the region.
• Oversee strategic workforce planning and resource sharing across regions.
• Support strategic planning and alignment with company goals.
