Job summary

Kennedy Jenks Consultants seeks a Regional Business Leader to guide sales, project delivery, financial, and people performance across the region. You will build high‑performing teams, strengthen client relationships, and align regional priorities with the company's strategic plan.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll oversee risk management, pursue opportunities, manage budgets, and mentor leaders. A hybrid work model with regular office presence supports collaboration, growth, and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related discipline.
• At least 15 years of industry experience, including leadership responsibility for people, financial performance, sales, client service, and project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set priorities, and create accountability for business and operational results.
• Strong understanding of business development, project delivery, workforce planning, and financial management.
• Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and collaborate with senior leaders, clients, and employees, including those outside a direct reporting relationship.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt to change, navigate complex situations, and raise concerns early through open dialogue.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance Oversight and risk management for the region with project delivery and client service teams.
• Lead regional strategy, growth, and budget for business development.
• Guide pursuits, proposals, project scopes, pricing, budget, and performance metrics for the region.
• Develop strategic client contacts and promote cross-selling of services.
• Ensure profitable regional performance and compliance with laws, policies, standards, and processes.
• Recruit regional staff, support hiring goals, and develop internal talent.
• Plan workforce and resource sharing across regions to meet targets.
• Align regional strategy with company goals and approve staffing initiatives.
