IDEA is seeking an Event Coordinator in Richardson, TX to plan, coordinate, and execute regional fundraising and other events aligned with our mission. You will lead operations from planning through on-site execution, coordinating with staff, partners, and volunteers to ensure high-quality events that meet budgets and timelines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in event planning, fundraising, community engagement, hospitality, or related field.
• Strong organizational, project-management, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Experience managing event budgets and coordinating vendors, contracts, speakers, volunteers, and logistics.
• Excellent oral and written communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and execute regional fundraising and other events per strategy and priorities.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Director of National Events for quality assurance and consistency.
• Develop event plans, timelines, budgets, and materials for execution.
• Research, secure, and coordinate venues, vendors, catering, transportation, lodging, and other services.
• Negotiate contracts with venues, hotels, sponsors, and stakeholders as needed.
• Coordinate speakers, sponsors, host committees, volunteers, and internal teams.
• Oversee on-site operations including setup, registration, guest experience, and program flow.
