IDEA (Islamic Development & Empowerment in America) is seeking a Regional Manager to lead fundraising strategy, donor relations, and community engagement across their assigned region in the United States. The role includes developing the regional development plan, managing staff, and coordinating events in alignment with national priorities.

You will represent IDEA to donors, masajid, and community partners, travel as needed, and work evenings or weekends during events.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, grassroots, community engagement, nonprofit management.
• Familiarity with the local Muslim community and community leaders.
• 1–2 years direct supervisory experience.
• Ability to self-manage multiple priorities with strong time-management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to build diverse relationships.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during events.

Responsabilités

• Develops and manages the annual regional development plan and regional calendar of events, campaigns, fundraising activities, and outreach in alignment with national strategy and regional priorities.
• Supervises regional fund development personnel, including performance management and tracking, recruitment and training, and time-off records.
• Monitors regional revenue and financial performance.
• Represents IDEA to donors, masajid, community partners, and other regional organizations and individuals.
• Coordinates regional activity planning with internal teams and management.
• Oversees budgeting and implementation of fundraising events in coordination with internal staff.
• Represents IDEA at community, donor, fundraising, and partner engagements.
• Communicates with donors and prospective donors about IDEA’s work and volunteering opportunities.
• Leads regular regional staff meetings and maintains coordination and accountability across the regional team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
