Job summary

IDEA seeks a Regional Manager in Richardson, TX to lead fundraising strategy and regional operations within the Fund Development division. The role develops plans, manages staff, and strengthens donor and community relationships to meet revenue goals.

The position requires experience in nonprofit fundraising, strong communication, and travel as needed. Evening or weekend commitments are expected for events and campaigns, and the candidate must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Strong public speaking and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with effective time management.
• Experience in fundraising, community engagement, or nonprofit management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the annual regional development plan and calendar of events, campaigns, fundraising activities, and outreach.
• Supervises regional fund development personnel including performance management, recruitment, and training.
• Monitors regional revenue and financial performance.
• Represents IDEA in the community to foster donor and partner relationships.
• Coordinates regional activity planning with internal teams and management.
• Oversees budgeting, sponsorships, and post-event follow-up of fundraising activities.
• Represents IDEA at community, donor, fundraising and partner engagements.
• Maintains communication with donors and prospective donors about IDEA's work and volunteering opportunities.
• Leads regular regional staff meetings and ensures coordination across the regional team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
