Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in event planning, fundraising, community engagement, hospitality, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute regional fundraising events.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Director of National Events for QA and standards.
• Develop event plans, timelines, budgets.
• Research venues, vendors, catering within budgets.
• Negotiate contracts with venues, sponsors, and vendors.
• Coordinate speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and teams.
• Oversee on-site operations, setup, and registration.
• Promote events and manage attendee communications.
• Support regional event planning calendars and outreach.
• Represent IDEA at community events and masjid tablings.
• Build relationships with venues and partners.
• Coordinate with Volunteer Management.
• Maintain event information in Salesforce/ClickUp.
• Post-event reporting and documentation.
