Job summary

IDEA is seeking a Regional Manager in Detroit, MI to lead fundraising strategy, manage regional staff, and deepen donor and community engagement while aligning with national priorities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in fundraising, grassroots, community engagement, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Familiarity with the local Muslim community and leaders.
• 1–2 years of direct supervisory experience.
• Ability to self‑manage multiple priorities with strong time management.
• Strong collaboration and team contribution skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to build relationships with diverse communities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with follow-through.
• Public speaking skills; comfortable addressing crowds.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace; Salesforce or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the annual regional development plan and events calendar.
• Supervises regional fund development staff; handles performance management and training.
• Monitors regional revenue and financial performance.
• Represents IDEA in the community to engage donors, masajid, and partners.
• Coordinates regional activities with internal teams and management.
• Oversees planning, budgeting, and follow-up of fundraising events in coordination with staff.
• Represents IDEA at donor and partner engagements.
• Communicates with donors and inquiries about IDEA's work and volunteering.
• Leads regional staff meetings and maintains cross‑team accountability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
