Job summary

Ascension Milwaukee seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct, compassionate care in a diverse setting across multiple Ascension sites. You will follow policies, implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with the care team to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• RN credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire or multi-state license.
• PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, direct nursing care within a varied healthcare setting according to policies and protocols.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans and communicate patient conditions.
• Coordinate all care disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document and execute physician and nursing orders promptly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate patient care requirements.

• Deliver comprehensive, direct nursing care within a varied healthcare setting, adhering strictly to the organization's established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor individualized patient care plans. Accurately record and communicate the patient's condition as necessary.
• Function as the central coordinator for all care disciplines to ensure seamless and well-integrated patient care.
• Promptly document and execute all physician and nursing orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and strategically coordinate all aspects of the patient's care requirements.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
