Job summary

Ascension in Racine, WI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Vascular Interventional Pre/Post Procedural department. This full-time day-shift role offers a chance to contribute to multidisciplinary patient care at All Saints Hospital.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care, execute orders, monitor patient progress, and coordinate discharge planning to ensure safe, smooth transitions home.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date required, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• RN credentialing from Wisconsin Board of Nursing or Minnesota Board of Nursing with multi-state/Compact State eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate direct nursing care per established protocols to promote patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Execute physician and nursing orders promptly and monitor individualized care plans to support recovery.
• Monitor and communicate critical patient status updates to the multidisciplinary team for timely interventions.
• Coordinate services across clinical disciplines as the primary liaison for a well-integrated, patient-centered journey.
• Facilitate discharge planning by evaluating needs and ensuring a safe transition home.

• Coordinate services across all clinical disciplines, serving as the primary liaison to guarantee a well-integrated, patient-centered care journey.


• Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning by proactively evaluating patient needs and collaborating with the care team to ensure a safe, smooth transition home.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• One or more of the following required:




• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.


• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
