Job summary

Reading Truck Body seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across the West region (AZ, UT, ID, WA, OR, NV, CA, AK, HI). Build relationships with distributors and fleets, open doors to new business, and expand our presence with municipalities and end users.

You will own sales objectives, expand the customer base, and collaborate with Engineering on custom body solutions and with Operations on capacity and lead times.

Qualifications

• Sales success with a proven track record in growth and revenue goals.
• Strong ability to develop trusted customer, distributor, and internal partnerships.
• Ability to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, prioritization, and territory management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Profitability: Own and deliver sales and profit objectives across your assigned territory.
• Expand the Market: Grow customer and distributor portfolio by developing new relationships and opening doors in new markets.
• Grow Fleet Business: Identify opportunities with regional fleets and collaborate with Engineering on custom solutions.
• Know the Competition: Monitor market trends and competitor activity and share insights with sales leadership.
• Improve How We Work: Strengthen processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer experience.
• Deliver on Customer Expectations: Align pricing, lead times, and delivery with customer needs and production capabilities.
• Support the Customer: Work with internal teams to resolve service and warranty needs while maintaining strong relationships.
• Step Up & Contribute: Take on additional responsibilities to support growth of Reading Truck.
