Job summary

SOCOTEC seeks a Regional Fire & Life Safety Manager to launch and lead the Mid-Atlantic fire protection division from Arlington, VA. This role combines technical fire protection expertise with business leadership to grow SOCOTEC Life Safety's presence in the D.C. metro area.

The ideal candidate will manage market entry, build client relationships, and drive service line growth while assembling a capable team and implementing scalable processes to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or related field.
• PE license in Fire Protection Engineering or ability to obtain one.
• 7-10 years of fire protection engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, IBC, UBC and related codes.
• Experience starting up and growing a business unit.

Responsibilities

• Launch and grow the fire protection engineering division in the Mid-Atlantic.
• Define market entry and growth strategy for SOCOTEC Life Safety.
• Oversee projects from inception to completion within budgets and schedules.
• Develop senior client relationships and drive business development.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers and professionals.
