Job summary

SOCOTEC USA is seeking a highly motivated leader to launch and grow the Fire Protection Engineering division in the Mid-Atlantic, ideally around the Washington DC metro area. The role combines technical fire protection expertise with strong business leadership to build a team, establish processes, and drive client acquisition.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or attainable within a reasonable time frame.
Minimum 7-10 years in fire protection engineering with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Define and execute Mid-Atlantic market entry and growth for SOCOTEC Life Safety.
Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers and professionals.
Oversee projects from inception to completion within budgets, timelines and quality standards.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, utilization, margins and cash flow for the Service Line.
Develop and nurture senior client relationships with owners, developers, contractors and engineers.
