Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel regionally and provide on-site technical support, installations, commissioning, maintenance, and calibrations on Atlas Copco tools and assembly systems. You will report to the Regional Team Leader and ideally reside in Ohio, with up to 60% local travel and 40% national travel.

The role requires 2–3 years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver's License.
• Able to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally.
• Strong customer service and ability to communicate across all levels.
• Proficient with IT, MS Office, and networking or wireless tech.
• Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and assist with issues.
• Create detailed reports and capture costs through admin work.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, programming, and repairs.
• Reinforce best practices of Atlas Copco equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency field repairs.
• Coordinate travel schedules and accommodations for visits.
• Interface with customers and internal teams within the region.
