Job summary

Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC in the United States seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support, installations, commissioning, maintenance and repairs at customer sites in your region.

You will travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally, report to the Regional Team Leader, and use your mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and customer service excellence to ensure Atlas Copco equipment operates with best practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally, regionally dependent.
• 2–3 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Strong customer service and cross‑level communication skills.
• Proficient with IT, MS Office, and networking concepts.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate within a team.
• Ability to summarize technical problems and resolutions.
• Interest in industrial tooling; valid US driver’s license; HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform installations, commissioning, maintenance or calibrations.
• Provide on-site technical support and hands‑on troubleshooting.
• Create detailed reports and capture costs through administrative work.
• Ensure best practices and correct operation of Atlas Copco equipment.
• Respond to emergency field repair needs and coordinate travel and lodging.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
