Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC -North America Customer Center is seeking a Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and install air compressors and dryers. You will work closely with customers, report to the Service Manager, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation with travel to customer locations, including overnights when required.

The role requires 1–2 years in mechanical/electrical fields, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• EPA certification is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and air dryers.
• Set and install compressor systems; pipe distribution.
• Learn advanced topics (VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring).
• Complete service reports, startup forms, warranty and parts return documents.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation with travel to customer sites, including potential overnight stays.
