Job summary

Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC in Columbus, OH seeks a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site technical support, installations, commissioning, maintenance, and calibrations for customers in the region. You will troubleshoot, repair, and ensure best practices, while traveling up to 60% locally and 40% nationally.

We value hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and strong communication; a high school diploma and US driver’s license are required plus ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally.
• Customer service excellence and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
• IT, MS Office products, and networking or wireless communication proficiency.
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
• Have a valid US Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and assist with any issues that may arise.
• Create detailed reports and capture costs through timely administrative work.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, programming, and repairs.
• Reinforce the correct operation and Best Practices of Atlas Copco equipment to customers.
• Willing to respond and travel for emergency field repair of Atlas Copco equipment.
• Coordinate travel schedule and accommodations to visit customer sites.
• Interface with customers externally within your region, as well as internally within our own company.
