Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Regional Field Leader, Associate Director to oversee one of the US Pain regions, leading a team of 8-10 territory account managers. The role focuses on building a high-performing team, setting regional plans, and delivering results aligned with Vertex values.

The position requires extensive experience in healthcare/biopharma marketing, strategic account management, and leadership, with emphasis on formulary processes, cross-functional collaboration, and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years in healthcare/biopharma marketing or equivalent.
• 10+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience in strategic account management and hospital/institutional sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and coaching of Regional Pain Territory Account Management team.
• Set business plans, metrics and goals for the region and drive results.
• Leverage data analytics and field insights to guide account managers.
• Manage formulary, pathway and protocol placement within institutions.
• Develop long-term account relationships across institutional accounts.
• Collaborate with US Pain Marketing to shape performance strategies.
• Foster teamwork, address customer needs and market trends.
• Ensure forecast achievement and maintain compliant operations.
