Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Pain Regional Account Manager to deliver flexible, high-impact field coverage across the Pain Business Unit. You will deploy to priority accounts, maintain relationships, and drive execution of commercial objectives while adapting to changing geographies.

Expect 80% travel, frequent transitions between territories, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in pharma sales with account management are preferred, along with Veeva CRM

Qualifications

• 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• 3+ years in Account Management with multiple territory deployments.
• Proven ability to operate in fast-changing environments with transitions between territories.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible field coverage across regions in response to vacancies and leaves.
• Deploy based on prioritization to ensure continuity across priority territories.
• Own customer engagement, account plans, and business execution during deployments.
• Document activity and territory updates in CRM systems (Veeva).
• Support onboarding and ramp-up of new representatives with territorial knowledge transfer.
