Job summary

Ohio BWC is seeking a Regional Field Safety Operations supervisor to oversee daily operations for ergonomists, industrial hygienists, and safety consultants across Northwest Ohio. You will plan and direct programming, attend on-site employer consultations, and prepare status reports on service delivery outcomes and projects.

You will mentor staff, represent the Office of Safety Services in meetings with employers and safety organizations, and manage resource allocation and budgets.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or 4+ years relevant experience in field safety.
• Experience with safety programs, audits or compliance activities.
• Proficiency with data analytics and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations for field safety operations ergonomists, industrial hygienists, and industrial safety consultant specialists.
• Plan and direct programming and service delivery for assigned region.
• Attend onsite employer consultations with staff throughout the region.
• Prepare status reports of service delivery outcomes, collaborations, and projects.
• Mentor staff in service delivery and professional development.
• Represents the Office of Safety Services in meetings with employers and safety organizations.
• Plans for resource allocation and monitors budget expenditures.
