Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking a Regional EHS Manager to partner with operational leadership and drive safety across the Midwest region, including OH, IN, IL, and MI. The role emphasizes coaching leaders, integrating safety into daily operations, and building a proactive safety culture.

The position requires strong relationship building, field presence, and the ability to manage EHS programs, audits, and training while supporting continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of work experience in the EHS field.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field; 3 years EHS experience or HS diploma with 5 years EHS experience.
• EHS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily and continuous safety support to the Midwest United States Markets (OH, IN, IL, MI).
• Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments to support EHS management.
• Offer guidance in EHS programs to field, facility, and regional leadership.
• Maintain and update SOPs for safe work practices and equipment.
• Coach and mentor regional employees through the EHS Management System.
• Review accidents/incidents and manage corrective actions.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Assist in developing and presenting EHS training.
• Travel to branch locations and job sites as required.
