Job summary

SiteWORX_Ohio is seeking a Safety Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. You will monitor safety practices, conduct site inspections, develop training, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple active job sites.

The role requires strong health and safety experience, knowledge of EHS concepts, and the ability to lead investigations and implement corrective actions with project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills related to construction.
• EHS knowledge including risk assessment and site programs.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training for field teams.
• Experience with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• OSHA certifications or related safety designations are beneficial.
• Experience in construction or civil infrastructure environments; strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and promote safe work practices across site projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify hazards.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements; maintain documentation.
• Support job safety analyses and incident/near-miss investigations; recommend corrective actions.
