Job summary

SBM is seeking a Site Supervisor to safely coordinate activities within the assigned program in Canton, Ohio. The role involves supervising employees, ensuring OSHA and sanitation compliance, and training staff on safety policies.

The supervisor will inspect areas and equipment, manage PPE usage, and maintain records and reports for management review. Responsibilities include leadership, safety inspections, and coordination of daily activities, with potential travel.

Qualifications

Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training, High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination.
May be required to have a valid driver's license; forklift certification may be required.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; strong communication, coaching and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform duties of employees within the program assigned.
Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommend training and discipline.
Prepare written reports (pass down, weekly, monthly).
Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
Track equipment inventory, maintenance, repairs; track supplies and maintain inventory.
Monitor PPE usage to ensure safety compliance.
Report issues to manager and recommend corrective action.
Maintain training, inspection, attendance, and metric records.
