Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Field Reimbursement Colleague in North America to act as the subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage, enabling patient access to Pfizer products.

You will conduct office calls with HCPs, provide in-person and virtual payer education, distribute materials, coordinate with HUB programs, and maintain compliant notes. Travel about 50% across assigned territory; reside within boundaries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years pharmaceutical industry experience typically within the fields of pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Reimbursement and Access experience is a plus. Strong understanding of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and knowledge of the policy dynamics that exist across the various Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• Experience demonstrating exceptional communication and presentation skills, strategic planning, and successful plan implementation. This individual must also have demonstrated leadership and success at working across internal boundaries and be able to collaborate with multiple relevant stakeholders to coordinate various unique objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures. Proven track record of collaborating broadly with a diverse range of customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance with company standards
• Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
• Must reside in territory boundaries
• Travel requirement: 50% for live customer interactions
• As needed based on geography size & customer needs. FRMs spend ~50% of their time conducting live customer interactions

Responsibilities

• Conduct office calls with HCPs and office staff to enable patient access to Pfizer products.
• Provide in-person and virtual education on payer landscape, coverage policies, and formulary updates.
• Distribute Pfizer RC-approved materials relating to coverage and reimbursement matters.
• Provide education on Hub financial assistance offerings and enrollment processes.
• Coordinate with Pfizer patient access and support programs (HUB).
• Address questions about prescription status of patients enrolled in Pfizer programs.
• Compliantly use Pfizer’s designated case notes system.
