Job summary

ECS seeks an Area Manager to oversee the Mobile branch operations, ensuring safe, cost-effective and efficient day-to-day management of field locations while driving growth and upholding the local brand.

You will lead dispatch, client relations, and field staff development, monitor the P&L, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and environmental rules. Strong communication with executives and drivers is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field experience is required.
• Management experience in Construction & Pipeline industries is preferred.
• Experience with employee relations, leadership, mentoring and training is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites for safety compliance, inspections, bidding, and pre-job preparation.
• Maintain and grow established business in the assigned territory at an aggressive pace, ensuring profitability.
• Develop strong customer relationships, creating repeat revenue and expanding demand for ECS services.
• Facilitate dispatching of ECS equipment and personnel to job sites to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and manage the area’s budget and P&L on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental requirements.
