Job summary

ARCXIS is seeking an Area Manager to lead the planning, recruitment, onboarding, administration, and quality assurance for our Field Operations in residential inspection services. You will supervise daily field inspection services, coordinate with builders, trades, and inspectors, and ensure contracts run smoothly while meeting financial targets.

This role requires strong communication, ability to read building plans, experience in IECC RESNET energy codes, and the capacity to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years in management preferred.
• Knowledge of construction practices and energy efficiency code requirements within new construction.
• 5+ years’ experience as Construction Superintendent or Field Supervisor.
• Professional licenses or affiliations in HVAC/building science preferred.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in construction.
• Current vehicle registration and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field inspection services and coordinate with field staff, builders, and trades.
• Oversee regional contracts and ensure operational activities meet policies and financial targets.
• Communicate with builders, city inspectors, and trades on job sites.
• Maintain relationships with builders and trade clients; monitor expenses and COS.
• Provide training to staff and maintain certifications; manage time off and attendance.
• Mentor staff, interview/hire, and take disciplinary actions as needed.
