gFiber is seeking a Regional Repair and Maintenance Lead for the Metro area to ensure reliable network operations. You’ll monitor performance, lead maintenance, and guide the team to resolve outages and improve service quality.

The role requires extensive fiber network management and people management experience, with non-standard hours including nights and weekends expected. Competitive US base salary provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with fiber network management and/or deployments.
• 8 years of people and vendor management experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting costs, project reporting, network capacity planning, quality assurance, network equipment turn-up, testing, and acceptance.
• Ability to work non-standard working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Manage the planning and execution of complex and competing tasks that support our ongoing network operations.
• Develop and grow a talented Operations team.
• Maintain gFiber’s infrastructure in the regional markets on an ongoing basis, supporting new acceptance of active network equipment/electronics, and new customer installations.
• Implement a repair and maintenance program to fulfill internal service requirements, including being available during non-standard business hours as needed to handle outage resolution and off-hour escalations.
• Perform new plant testing and acceptance to ensure products meet quality standards and provide the best experience possible.
• Establish and manage positive vendor relationships through effective facilitations and communication.
