Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Oregon seeks a Manager Facilities for Northern Campuses. This role leads the Facilities Department across Redmond, Madras and Prineville, guiding a team to ensure safe, reliable operations and continuous utility delivery.

You will coordinate with the System Director and regional teams on standards, energy planning, and asset management. You will manage budgets, safety programs, and escalation processes while driving cross‑site improvements and ensuring regulatory

Responsibilities

• Manages work order, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance programs across the Redmond, Madras, and Prineville hospitals and associated Northern Campus locations.
• Provides continuing safety, education, and communications within the department.
• Functions as a member of the Safety and Disaster committees.
• Manages larger department initiatives and leads the Facilities Services caregivers to ensure uninterrupted, safe generation and delivery of utilities.
• Ensures facilities operations comply with applicable state and federal requirements, CMS, Fire Marshall, The Joint Commission, and other standards.
• Serves as primary Facilities escalation point for Redmond, Madras, and Prineville; supports preventive and corrective maintenance and day-to-day operations.
• Reviews and provides input on utility, Life Safety, security plans and equipment operation procedures.
• Manages fuel supplies/deliveries and equipment/material purchases for facility systems.
• Assists with energy management, long-range planning, and asset management.
• Hires, coaches and monitors performance of direct reports to develop a high-performing team.
• Ensures compliance and safety requirements for all direct reports and implements safety directives.
• Delivers customer service and collaborates with leadership to share resources and drive systemwide improvements.
