Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, OR, seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee building operations for the Facilities Department in Bend.

You will lead a team of caregivers, ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of hospital facilities, and coordinate with departments to support patient care. The role demands hands-on leadership, budget stewardship, and compliance with Joint Commission, NFPA, and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary Facilities point of escalation for Bend campus operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance, building systems, utilities, infrastructure reliability, and facility-related operational issues.
• Manages the work order and preventative maintenance program for the Facilities service area, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
• Provides continuing safety, education, and communications within the department.
• Ensures Bend Facilities operations comply with applicable state and federal regulations, Joint Commission and NFPA standards.
