Job summary

ESA Management, LLC is seeking an Area Maintenance Technician to lead multiple ESA facilities within a defined region. The role reports to the Regional Operations leader and maintains assets, ensures efficiency, and drives preventive maintenance programs across sites.

You will mentor Maintenance Technicians, manage safety, and partner with regional teams to reduce costs while upholding ESA standards. Strong leadership and hands-on trade skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to continuously learn and apply industry trends.
• Strong people and project management skills with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of painting procedures and material selection.
• Understanding drywall patching and texturing techniques.
• Understanding caulking technique and product selection.
• Understanding flooring techniques.
• Understanding basic plumbing repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, coaching and development to Maintenance Technicians in the region.
• Ensure safety, maintenance, parts inventory control, and data quality for locations.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to facility asset management (roofing, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Align regional processes, protocols and initiatives across the region.
• Foster relationships with vendors and regional teams.
• Deliver prompt, courteous customer service in the assigned area.
• Analyze operating metrics and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and company standards.
• Lead projects with timelines and resources, addressing barriers to defined objectives.
• Serve as SME for maintenance across facilities, safety and compliance.
