Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance teams and ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across the region. You will develop strategies, solve complex challenges, and foster a culture that empowers technicians to perform at their best.

You will balance preventive maintenance with real-time problem resolution, coordinating with operations and responding to emergencies while promoting proactive planning and strong team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering Technology or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years Amazon RME Full Time experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering growth and performance.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols during maintenance activities across the region.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs and coordinate with external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance issues with applicable teams.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within the region.
