Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for its facilities within a regional area. You will lead technicians and ensure buildings operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably for associates and customers.

The role requires coordinating with store managers, vendors, and leadership, plus maintaining licenses and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field with 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Mechanical Contractor License or equivalent in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and oversee predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Provide reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up-to-date licenses and ensure compliance with codes.
