Job summary

Kennedy Jenks seeks an Engineering Technical Services Regional Manager in Portland, OR to provide strategic leadership across our multidisciplinary technical services teams and ensure successful project delivery. You will mentor leaders, align resources, and support workforce growth.

You will oversee disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, CAD, Architectural, and I&C, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with business managers to balance workloads. 25% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Services discipline leaders and staff (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, CAD, Architectural, Instrumentation & Controls).
• Manage performance of the Technical Services organization and optimize resources.
• Partner with business managers, project managers, and business development leaders to align resources and priorities.
• Support delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects with Kennedy Jenks' standards and care guidelines.
• Promote technical excellence, quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration across disciplines, offices, and teams.
• Develop, mentor, and support current and future leaders.
• Support organizational growth, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
