Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Technical Services Regional Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team across electrical, mechanical, structural, CAD, architectural, and instrumentation disciplines. This role aligns technical resources with project delivery while fostering future leaders and continuous improvement.

The position emphasizes collaboration with managers and leaders to optimize resources, support growth, and ensure high-quality design delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field required; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering consulting experience, preferably within water/wastewater.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Technical Services discipline leaders and staff (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, CAD, Architectural, Instrumentation & Controls).
• Manage performance of the Technical Services organization, ensuring resources are optimized to meet current and projected workload demands.
• Partner with business managers, project managers, and business development leaders to align resources and priorities.
• Support the successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects, promoting efficient design delivery in accordance with Kennedy Jenks' standards and procedures while maintaining compliance with the applicable standard of care.
• Promote technical excellence, quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration across disciplines, offices, and teams.
• Develop, mentor, and support current and future leaders.
• Support organizational growth, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
