Smithfield Foods is seeking a Senior Regional Engineering Manager to lead engineering across multiple plants, driving capital planning and continuous improvement. You will provide technical leadership, optimize M&E processes, and guide lower-level engineers to elevate plant performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering plus 8+ years of experience, strong project leadership, and willingness to travel up to 50% to support cross-location operations. Relocation packages may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of team management/project leadership.
• Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and design issues.
• PM skills; Contract Administration; knowledge of national codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team members to cover multiple plants, ensuring optimal performance and overseeing projects across locations.
• Manage direct reports from diverse engineering disciplines to maintain excellence and resource projects.
• Oversee equipment testing, master plans, and equipment opportunities; align with Infrastructure Group for utilities and processes.
