Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Regional Engineering Supervisor to support the Senior Engineering Manager in overseeing Engineering Studies and Protection & Controls businesses in the region. You will lead a team of engineers, coordinate with Service Centers and Sales, and drive pipeline growth while ensuring accurate forecasting and timely project execution.

The role requires a Technical Degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers focused on professional engineering services such as studies and protection and controls.
• Drive pipeline growth with Service Center Managers and Sales; forecast accurately.
• Lead backlog reviews and ensure closure.
• Assist Sales with customer meetings or communicating vital changes to project schedule.
• Assist in project scope reviews and provide feedback for pricing.
• Mentor team members and provide learning opportunities.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding financials, project status and regional needs.
• Ensure team is trained and has necessary tools.
• Review costs and margin slippage; implement reduction measures.
• Monitor utilization and adjust as needed.
• Work with the Manila Team to assist in project execution.
• Coordinate with COE Admin and Service Center Managers to open, assign, and invoice jobs timely.
• Primary point of contact for Service Centers regarding Engineering COE issues.
• Perform Engineering study analysis and/or protection and controls work.
• Other duties may be assigned by Senior Engineering Manager.
