Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Baltimore, MD seeks a Regional Engineering Supervisor to support the Senior Engineering Manager in managing Engineering Studies and Protection and Controls businesses, coordinating efforts to maintain and grow the unit.

You will lead a team of engineers, work with Service Centers and Sales, drive pipeline, forecast, review backlog, mentor staff, and ensure timely invoicing and project execution across global teams.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• 10 years of Vertiv product knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers focused on professional engineering services (studies and protection and controls).
• Drive pipeline growth and forecast with Sales; coordinate orders and revenue.
• Lead backlog reviews and ensure closure by accountable parties.
• Assist Sales with customer meetings or communicating schedule changes.
• Assist in project scope reviews and provide feedback for pricing.
• Mentor team members and provide learning opportunities.
• Communicate financials, project status, and regional needs to stakeholders.
• Ensure the team is trained and has necessary tools.
• Review costs and margin slippage; implement cost-reduction measures.
• Monitor utilization and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with Manila team for project execution.
• Ensure COE Admin and Service Center processes for invoicing and job openings.
• Primary point of contact for the Service Centers regarding Engineering COE issues.
• Perform engineering study analysis and protection and controls work.
• Other duties may be assigned by the Senior Engineering Manager.
