Job summary

Fronius USA, LLC is seeking an Electronic Engineer Technician-Regional who will work with welding equipment and Fronius systems to support the sales process. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites, installation sites, and meetings as you demonstrate the value of Fronius products and services.

You will troubleshoot, install, and configure welding systems, collaborate with the Sales Representative on configurations, and lead or support training events for clients and distributors

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical technology/engineering field strongly preferred.
• Welding knowledge/experience a plus; robotic knowledge a plus.
• Must be willing and able to travel regularly within the USA and Europe, with valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Understand Fronius equipment configurations and installation processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment in the field.
• Assist in upgrades or up-sells of installations.
• Create system configurations to meet customer needs with sales support.
• Provide product guidance and support at customer sites, remotely or on-site.
• Lead demonstrations and training events for colleagues and clients.
• Communicate system advice to customers and distributors via phone and email.
• Install welding system hardware and software at client locations.
• Participate in trade fairs and provide technical guidance at events.
