Job summary

Fronius USA, LLC is seeking a System Engineer with strong welding technology knowledge to support the sales process and demonstrate the value of Fronius products. You will travel to client locations, configure systems, and provide training and technical guidance to regional teams and customers.

Ideal candidates have experience in welding/electrical engineering and a passion for technology, with the ability to work independently or remotely and to collaborate with sales and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel regularly within the USA and possibly overseas.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Experience in welding technology or electrical engineering preferred.
• Robot programming/integration experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or German a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of Fronius welding technology and equipment.
• Works independently with existing and prospect customers, providing guidance and support on Fronius Perfect Welding products.
• Supports the sales process with configurations for robotic/automated/manual welding systems.
• Organizes and executes products and configurations prior to and during production start-up at customer location.
• Evaluates client needs to offer products, services, upgrades and overall solutions to their welding challenges.
• Provides e-mail and telephone support for routine and complex queries/problems.
• Records all customer related activity in CRM platform.
• Programs, troubleshoots, and tests automated systems such as robotics and hard automation.
• Performs/supports installations, commissioning, training at client locations for manual/robotic/automated systems.
• Designs and conducts trainings and events for Fronius regional teams and clients.
• Participates in trade fairs and provides product and technical guidance and support at regional and national events.
