Job summary

Fronius USA, LLC is seeking a field service technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair welding equipment at client sites across the USA and Europe. You will customize system configurations, provide technical guidance, and support sales with upgrades and new installations.

The role requires travel, strong electronics/engineering background, welding or robotics knowledge a plus, and the ability to work independently or remotely while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university preferred.
• Must be willing and authorized to travel throughout the USA and Europe.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in the field and/or Electrical Technology/Engineering.
• Welding knowledge/experience a plus; robotic knowledge/experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Understand Fronius equipment configurations and installation processes.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair welding equipment in the field.
• Support Sales with system configurations to fulfill customer needs.
• Provide product guidance to clients and prospects at their locations.
• Attend presentations, develop proposals, and conduct demonstrations as the technical expert.
• Lead or support modifications/further development of Fronius products.
• Conduct training events for colleagues, distributors, dealers, and end clients.
