Job summary
Vertiv Corporation in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to drive regional revenue growth by delivering advanced technical solutions and trusted advisory support across multiple business units. You will partner with sales teams to identify opportunities, lead site assessments, and develop compelling proposals for executive buyers.
The role requires coaching sales staff, delivering thought leadership through lunch & learns and regional events, and maintaining strong customer relationships
Qualifications
- Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and some overnight travel.
- Graduate engineer (BSEE/BSME) or electrical tech school graduate, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in technical sales or engineering support is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Act as regional technical sales authority, supporting growth initiatives across multiple locations.
- Engage key customers and strategic accounts to identify opportunities and present solutions.
- Lead complex technical sales activities including site assessments, proposal strategy, and executive presentations.
- Ensure technical and commercial alignment with customer objectives and pricing strategies.
- Mentor and coach sales engineers and representatives across the region.
