Job summary

Oldcastle APG is hiring a regional safety administrator to oversee safety programs across four sites in the Southwest. The role focuses on maintaining plant safety manuals, documenting safety records, and coordinating safety committees while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will train staff, prepare monthly reports, manage permit applications, and verify workplace conditions for adherence to safety standards. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must follow safety procedures and attend weekly safety meetings.
• Must be able to pass internal certification training.
• Travel within assigned region is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to input documentation while seated when needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer safety programs within the Southwest region (4 sites).
• Maintain each site's Plant Safety Manual and safety records.
• Serve as Safety Committee Secretary and coordinate safety functions.
• Prepare and submit monthly safety reports and permit applications.
• Assist in safety training and attend toolbox talks as available.
• Inspect environments and equipment for compliance with regulations.
