Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead multiple manufacturing sites in Florida, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. This onsite role requires coordination across sites, driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Regional VP/GM, you will build leadership teams, manage capital projects, and optimize plant performance while navigating a decentralized business model and travel to Florida sites as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, or other technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in Operations Management or similar.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L results.
• Proven communication and relational skills to adapt with time.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Travel up to 50% to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple manufacturing sites within the region.
• Oversee Safety, Quality, Productivity, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal performance.
• Develop leaders at each location and support ongoing development.
• Lead projects to support customer solutions and capital improvements.
• Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate goals into metrics and hold teams accountable.
• Balance production planning with cost and service goals.
• Coach plant managers to boost efficiency and cost control.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to achieve shared goals.
• Ensure accurate reporting of production and inventory.
