Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks an Area EHSS Manager to oversee health, safety, environmental, and sustainability across four Florida locations, including Jacksonville. You will lead a team of EHSS professionals, drive compliance with OSHA 1910, and partner with site leaders to embed a proactive safety culture while traveling 60–75% across the Southeast.

You'll report to the Regional EHSS Director and manage incident investigations, regulatory reporting, and sustainability

Qualifications

• 5+ Years in EHS and/or Manufacturing with EHS responsibility or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to reach across the various functional departments to facilitate seamless safety integration.
• Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 regulations.
• Strong project and process safety management skills, with experience managing major manufacturing projects and/or process change initiatives.
• Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent presence within the facilities overseen and identify areas for improvement with sustainable value.
• Partner with Area General Manager to ensure ownership by all team members at each site.
• Lead EHS professionals and site managers to integrate with IPG EHS standards and expectations.
• Participate in operating plans, strategic planning, EHS initiatives, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Supervise a team of site-based EHS professionals across the region.
• Assist onboarding of new EHS professionals and managers across the region.
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective action follow-ups to prevent recurrence.
• Advise local management on implementing and auditing EHSS management systems.
• Monitor EHSS metrics, compile reports, and drive safety culture improvements.
