Job summary

BSI is seeking a Principal EHS Consultant - Business Growth Leader to drive growth across the Southeast region from Tampa or other listed cities. This senior, client-facing role combines deep safety and EHS expertise with strong business development capabilities to expand our footprint and book of business.

You will lead regional strategy, mentor consulting teams, win new opportunities, and travel 30–50% to engage with world-class clients in energy, chemicals, manufacturing, and infrastructure

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting experience in safety, EHS, or risk management within professional services.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS, safety, engineering, science, or related field.
• Proven business development success with at least 5 years of revenue growth and client development.
• Demonstrated ability to grow markets, manage client portfolios, and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional growth strategy focused on safety and EHS consulting in the Southeast.
• Build and grow personal and regional book of business through client development and cross-selling.
• Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and client presentations to win new opportunities.
• Mentor regional consulting teams and maintain delivery excellence across projects.
• Represent BSI through networking, events, and thought leadership.
