Job summary

BSI seeks a Principal EHS Consultant - Business Growth Leader to drive Southeast growth across safety, health, and risk services. The role can be located in multiple U.S. locations with remote options and up to 50% travel.

The position combines senior consulting leadership with business development, client relationship building, and mentoring of teams to expand BSI's regional footprint.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting in safety, EHS, or risk management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS, safety, engineering, science, or related field.
• Proven business development with revenue growth experience.
• Strong executive presence with senior client stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 30–50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional growth strategy focused on safety and EHS consulting in the Southeast.
• Build and grow a personal and regional book of business through client development and partnerships.
• Identify, pursue, and win new opportunities; lead proposal development and pricing.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and risk.
• Lead and oversee complex engagements with delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with national service line leaders to expand multidisciplinary solutions.
• Mentor regional consulting talent and represent BSI in the market.
• Support regional and national clients with travel up to 50%.
